It's been a few months since you and Liv Morgan got together and what she said afterwards about an old flame of yours has been eating at you ever since... So after a few drinks you swallow your pride and decide to reconnect with Cathy Kelley

The days come and go until it's finally time for your chat with Cathy. You spend the whole day wondering and fretting over how it might go. But you show up to the show and head backstage to look for Cathy with the best of intentions.

After looking around seemingly every corridor, you finally spot Cathy and slowly head over to her, trying to think of what to say to her. Although you're finding it hard to find the right words as you stare at her tight body squeezed into a skin tight dress.

You - "Hey Cath.. You look uh..."

Cathy - "First of all... Don't "Cath" me... You don't get to call me that anymore."

You - "Right... Sorry... I was just gonna say that you look... really nice, Cathy."

Cathy - "As if I care what you think..."

You - "Well you're the one wanted to talk about something."

Cathy - "About that... How did you even know I wanted to talk to you? It's not like you ever reached out to me..."

You rack your brain trying to figure out the right way to tell your ex that you obtained said information after hooking up with one of her co-workers.

You - "I uh... heard from a friend..."

Cathy - "Okay well the only people who could have possibly told you that are the girls back here... So was it one of them?"

You - "Yes..."

Cathy - "Alright... And why were you hanging out with people here?"

You - "Come on Cath... Do you rea-"

Cathy - "Don't call me that!

You take a breath and calm yourself down before you say something you might regret.

You - "I'm sorry... But do you really want to know?"

Cathy - "Yes, you owe it to me."

You - "Fine... She told me after we... hooked up..."

Cathy - "Wow... You are... Something else..."

You - "Look... I'm sorry about how things ended between us and I-"

Cathy - "Oh YOU'RE sorry?! That is... WOW..."

You - "If you want to yell at me, you can yell at me."

Now it's Cathy who takes a breath and composes herself.

Cathy - "I do want to yell at you... Like... Really badly..."

You - "Alright let it out then, I'm sure I deserve it."

Cathy - "Oh... You definitely do. But I don't want to cause a scene where I work."

You - "Alright then... Let me buy you dinner or something."

Cathy - "Ha... Trying to relive our first date? Not a chance."

You - "I wasn't trying t-"

Cathy - "Just follow me... We'll find somewhere quiet to talk about it like adults."

You - "I'd like that."

After following Cathy all over the backstage area, she finally ushers you into an empty dressing room and closes the door behind you. She sits down on a couch and motions you to sit beside her.

You - "Alright... Look, Cath... er, Cathy... I'm really sorry if I hurt you... I know that probably doesn't help much but... I mean it. I'm sorry, Cathy."

Cathy - "Yeah well... You did hurt me... You made me care about you and then you just... fucking ghosted me... Honestly it makes me wonder if you even cared ab-"

You - "Of course I cared about you... Come on.."

Cathy - "Then why? You couldn't have even texted me?!"

You can tell by her voice that Cathy is fighting back tears, so you choose your next words very carefully.

You - "Honestly... I don't know... I guess I was just... Scared of the commitment? Plus I mean... I've always been kind of a moron, you should know that."

She cracks a slight smile and looks at you.

Cathy - "Yeah... For once we can agree on something... Look... Sorry for how I've been treating you..."

You - "No... I deserve it.."

Cathy - "Yeah... You really do. You kinda suck, you know that?"

You - "Yeah... Yeah I know."
