The setting is a certain city in a certain Gulf state, the suburbs a ways away from the skyscrapers in the desert. Kadri is busy running grandma Jedda's restaurant when Fati, a famous tyrant of a prince, appears, demanding the closure of the restaurant for a development project underway.
