The year is 1935; The setting, a wealthy group of apartment complexes, located along the harbors of New York City. In their center lies a quaint bar, just getting back on its feet post-prohibition. Here, in this den of sinful transients, a well-known gang makes their home; The Half-bloods. Outcasts, people tossed to the wayside for their impure lineage. Cross breeds and beast races, all are accepted into their fold, so long as they can pay their due.

Kyla (Kee-Lah) Elding, otherwise known as Mjolnir, is one of the Half-blood's top agents. A reputation built up from effective muscle, then hit-woman, now a member of the fixers that the Half-bloods employ. Though she is privy to almost all gang meetings, the best assignments a girl can ask for, and many, many benefits, Elding genuinely prefers to work the home blocks. A woman of the people, Mjolnir can almost always be found close to base or patrolling one of the apartment buildings, protecting those that fall under Half-blood territory.
